Clivilius Office of Strategic Intelligence

The Clivilius Office of Strategic Intelligence is the joint headquarters of the Clivilius Secret Service and the Clivilius High Council, occupying the northwest corner of Unity Plaza in Bixbus. A hundred-metre square with fifteen floors above ground and seven sub-basements, completed between October 2021 and 2022, the building is the architectural anchor of the institutional partnership the Service and the Council were founded to embody — the operational and deliberative halves of a single response to the long-range strategic problem of coordinating the wider Clivilius from Bixbus.

Devonport Police Station, Tasmania

The Charles Street station in central Launceston has served as Tasmania Police Northern Division's headquarters since the 1917 reorganisation, a solid brick building whose successive modifications trace the evolution of regional policing from telegraph-and-horseback to digital forensics and highway patrol. The station houses Northern Division's command, its detective branch, custody facilities, and the administrative machinery that coordinates policing across 20,000 square kilometres of northern Tasmania. Naval Academy, Portsmouth

Authorised under the royal charter of 1627 which first granted Portsmouth the right to maintain its own prison, the gaol processed thousands of prisoners across seven decades — petty thieves and prostitutes, debtors and deserters, men awaiting the hulks and women imprisoned for the twenty-second time. Its walls absorbed every shade of human misery the law could deliver, and gave back nothing.
