NATURE OF REQUEST
Pursuant to Tasmania Police operational requirements for a concern-for-welfare investigation involving two missing persons, Tasmania Police requests the following information from Hobart International Airport:
1. Passenger Departure Records
Complete passenger manifest records for all departing flights from Hobart International Airport for the following individuals:
Subject 1: Full Name: Jamie Nigel GREYSON Date of Birth: 18 December 1983 Last Known Address: 2 Wallcrest Road, Berriedale TAS 7011
Subject 2:Full Name: Kain Thomas JEFFRIES Date of Birth: 8 April 1995 Last Known Address: Jeffries Manor, Granton TAS 7030
Date Range: 20 July 2018 — 28 July 2018 (inclusive)
Records Requested:
- Confirmation of any booking made under either name for any departing flight within the specified date range
- Confirmation of any check-in record under either name for any departing flight within the specified date range
- Confirmation of any boarding record under either name for any departing flight within the specified date range
- If positive match found: flight number, date, time, destination, booking reference, method of booking, and payment details associated with the booking
2. Arrival Records (Secondary)
If departure records return a positive match for either subject, Tasmania Police additionally requests corresponding arrival records for the destination airport to confirm whether travel was completed.
LEGAL BASIS FOR REQUEST
This request is made under the authority of Tasmania Police in connection with an active concern-for-welfare investigation. The information sought is relevant to establishing the whereabouts and welfare of two persons reported missing on 28 July 2018. This request does not constitute a warrant and is made on the basis of voluntary cooperation between Tasmania Police and the recipient organisation. Should the recipient require a formal court order to release the requested information, please advise the requesting officer immediately so that appropriate legal process may be initiated.
URGENCY AND JUSTIFICATION
Both subjects were reported missing on 28 July 2018. Information received during the initial investigation suggests one or both subjects may have travelled interstate. Verification of travel records is required urgently to confirm or eliminate this line of enquiry and to determine the appropriate scope of the ongoing investigation. Any delay in obtaining this information may impede efforts to locate the missing persons and assess their welfare.

All information provided in response to this request is to be treated as confidential and used solely for the purposes of the above-referenced investigation. Information will be stored in accordance with Tasmania Police information management protocols and will not be disclosed to third parties except as required by law or court order.
