Sisters in the Truck
Gladys and Beatrix climb into Joel's delivery truck, blood still drying on their clothes, and pull away from Luke's house with a manifest and a cover-up to complete. But leaving proves harder than staying. A wrong turn. A shattered mirror. Vomit in the roadside dirt. As the sisters bicker over routes and blame, one truth becomes inescapable: they've crossed a line, and there's no reversing course now. Only forward. Always forward.
Two sisters. One delivery truck. Three stops to complete before anyone notices the driver is missing.
Gladys clutches the manifest like a lifeline whilst Beatrix white-knuckles the steering wheel. They bicker about routes, snap at each other over wrong turns, and try desperately to pretend this is just another errand. But blood doesn't wash off that easily—not from clothes, not from conscience.
Every mistake compounds. Every mile adds weight. And somewhere between leaving Luke's driveway and reaching the first delivery, they'll discover that covering up a crime is less about what you do and more about what you're willing to become.
The road stretches ahead. The manifest says three stops. But the real question isn't where they're going—it's whether they can live with how they got here.
